Good Morning Coaches!
We need all hands on deck today for the combine!
If you can be there early to help set up, it would be greatly appreciated. The field will be split at the 50 yd line, timed and action events. Scouts and Braves will compete together (8u), Indians and Bantams together (12u) We have 9 challenges planned for the boys today:
40 Yard Dash
20 Yard Shuttle
Half-Mile Run
Down-Up Drill
Lineman Challenge
Catching Challenge
Longest Throw
Most Pushups (1 min)
Standing Broad Jump
I will bring stopwatches and measuring tape. Each athlete will have a paper form to bring to each station. We need at least one coach at each drill station to score and tally or coaches will have to travel station to station with their group. I'll also provide clipboards and markers. The award certificates will be pre-filled with everything except the athletes name. Remeber- we have awards for effort, attitude, and sportsmanship as well. So keep an eye out! We will wrap around 7:40 to begin presenting awards.
