Good Morning PHamily!
Thank you to the parents that came out last night. As of now, there will continue to be two Penn Hills teams. We will be playing in the Big East at the HS stadium and they will continue to play in the WYPAA. While on the surface, it may feel as though the meeting was a waste of time, it is a step in the right direction. I hope you left with some clarity of how we got to where we are and why our program is the place to be.
I am truly excited about what we have, are doing, and will accomplish together. It will be our first season playing on the high school field, we are back in the Big East, and sign ups are great so far! Plus, with the backing from the PHSD, it opens up avenues for us to have an even greater impact in the community. While we all want to win games and have success on the field, this is bigger than football! It’s about our kids, our future, and our community. Wins will be a byproduct of doing things the right way.
My ask to you is to continue to share the word about the positive changes in our program and continue to be the awesome people you are. You are why new families have joined our program and you are why we WILL be successful. We will have in person sign ups Monday from 7:30p-9:00p at the Fralic Center…. Let’em know!
