Good Morning PHamily!
We’ve had a fantastic week at the PHMFA! The Pirates Game was a great time together, plus they had an amazing 9th inning comeback win! We also had a great turnout for our cheer clinics and football combine Wednesday! Certificates will be distributed on Wednesday. Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and participants!
Next up… we have the Memorial Day Parade on Monday! We will meet at St. Barts Church, 111 Erhardt Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa, 15235 at 10am. Football players please wear red or black shorts, football jerseys will be provided and collected afterwards. Cheerleaders please wear red Soffe shorts and a tank top, shirts will be provided for you there. Every cheerleader with pom poms, please bring them! White hair bows will also be provided for the girls if needed. Coaches and parents please wear PH gear or PH colors!
For parents walking with us, it is suggested that you arrange to drop off your car at the finish line and get a ride back to St. Barts beforehand. It is a nice distance that we will be walking. Please wear comfortable shoes! Starting at St. Bart, we will walk all the way to the police station at 102 Duff Road. We never have too much water, so please bring a pack or two of six inch water bottles for our group or a bag of candy to hand out to the crowd. Any company or combination is welcome!
We have participated in the Memorial Day Parade for many, many years and it’s always a memorable experience. We hope everyone will be there to represent our program and support the commUNITY! Come out, have fun, and show your PH pride!
